Kelly Hart Program Coordinator
Kelly Hart is a graduate of Emerson College with a BA in Media Productions and Minors in Psychology and History. She spent 6 years as the Lead Teacher in the Early Head Start classroom at Center for Family Resources. She also was the Site Coordinator at their Clifton Father Mychal Judge location. Kelly is a motivated, driven young woman who has proven herself as a natural leader. She also has made it her career to focus on helping to strengthen and educate children and families. As a longtime resident of this community, Kelly has made West Milford her home and is excited to explore this next step in her career. Taking on the role of Community and Volunteer Coordinator, Kelly hopes to engage the community to help both her neighbors, and her family, thrive. Kelly and her husband, Jared, are the proud parents of two daughters, Sonny Lynn and Brady Mae.
Heather Saraceni Community & Volunteer Coordinator
Heather Saraceni is a Family Partner at the Highlands Family Success Center. She is a graduate from The University of Rhode Island with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Heather has taken on the role as the Lead Teacher in an Early Head Start classroom at the Ringwood location of Center for Family Resources for the last eight years. During her time at Center for Family Resources, Heather has also worked 21st Century Exploring Parenting and is the co-facilitator of the children’s Safe Place program. In an effort to help with the drug epidemic in the community, Heather has become a Steering Committee member of The Alliance of Wanaque and Ringwood for Education and Awareness for Substance Abuse Prevention. Heather is hardworking and passionate about having a positive impact on the lives of others and is looking forward to building relationships and strengthening the community at the Highlands Family Success Center.
Ashley Vander Velde Family Partner
Ashley Vander Velde is a Family Partner at the Highlands Family Success Center in West Milford, NJ. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah with her Bachelor’s in Social Work. She has worked hands-on advocating and supporting the families at the Center for Family Resources in Ringwood, NJ as a Family Service Partner for the past two years. Along with working at CFR she has completed field work experience at the Center for Prevention and Counseling in Newton, NJ and facilitated a children’s literacy program. Ashley is an avid volunteer and plans to be as involved as possible with everything West Milford has to offer. She is a dedicated worker and feels passionate about the importance of building strong relationships with families. Through the HFSC, Ashley plans on providing West Milford with programs and opportunities that will benefit the community as a whole.
