Wilson Santos Program Director
Wilson A. Santos is a 25 year veteran in the field of Team Building, Leadership and Youth Development. Wilson holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from York College City University of New York and is in the final stages of completing a Masters Degree in Leadership Development at Touro University Nevada. Wilson and his wife of 17 years Vicky are the proud parents of two children, Ckyson and Cereniti. After working in the West Milford community for over 15 years Wilson and his family decided to make West Milford their home and for the last 7 years have enjoyed all that it has to offer. Wilson and his wife enjoy spending time with other married couples and as part of their local parish have been involved in many activities including, strengthening marriage through the presentation of weekend retreats for couples, holding family gatherings at their home in order to afford couples the opportunity to spend time with each other and many youth based activities. Wilson has grown to truly call West Milford home and is looking forward to being part of the opportunities that the Highlands Family Success Center will provide.
Kelly Hart Community & Volunteer Coordinator
Kelly Hart is a graduate of Emerson College with a BA in Media Productions and Minors in Psychology and History. She has spent the last 6 years as the Lead Teacher in the Early Head Start classroom at Center for Family Resources. She also was the Site Coordinator at their Clifton Father Mychal Judge location. Kelly is a motivated, driven young woman who has proven herself as a natural leader. She also has made it her career to focus on helping to strengthen and educate children and families. As a longtime resident of this community, Kelly has made West Milford her home and is excited to explore this next step in her career. Taking on the role of Community and Volunteer Coordinator, Kelly hopes to engage the community to help both her neighbors, and her growing family, thrive. Kelly and her husband, Jared, are the proud parents of two young daughters, Sonny Lynn and Brady Mae.
Heather Saraceni Family Partner
Heather Saraceni is a Family Partner at the Highlands Family Success Center. She is a graduate from The University of Rhode Island with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Heather has taken on the role as the Lead Teacher in an Early Head Start classroom at the Ringwood location of Center for Family Resources for the last eight years. During her time at Center for Family Resources, Heather has also worked 21st Century Exploring Parenting and is the co-facilitator of the children’s Safe Place program. In an effort to help with the drug epidemic in the community, Heather has become a Steering Committee member of The Alliance of Wanaque and Ringwood for Education and Awareness for Substance Abuse Prevention. Heather is hardworking and passionate about having a positive impact on the lives of others and is looking forward to building relationships and strengthening the community at the Highlands Family Success Center.
Ashley Vander Velde Family Partner
Ashley Vander Velde is a Family Partner at the Highlands Family Success Center in West Milford, NJ. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah with her Bachelor’s in Social Work. She has worked hands-on advocating and supporting the families at the Center for Family Resources in Ringwood, NJ as a Family Service Partner for the past two years. Along with working at CFR she has completed field work experience at the Center for Prevention and Counseling in Newton, NJ and facilitated a children’s literacy program. Ashley is an avid volunteer and plans to be as involved as possible with everything West Milford has to offer. She is a dedicated worker and feels passionate about the importance of building strong relationships with families. Through the HFSC, Ashley plans on providing West Milford with programs and opportunities that will benefit the community as a whole.
Jennifer Salt Program Liaison
Jennifer Salt is a Registered Dietitian who has focused her career on community nutrition. She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Health Education and Promotion, with a specialization in Health Policy and Advocacy. After completion of the program, Jennifer will become a Certified Health Education Specialist and plans to target her efforts on eliminating health disparities in her local community. She is an active member of the Passaic County Food Policy Council and on the NJ Dietetics Association Board as the State Regulatory Specialist. As the program liaison between Center for Family Resources and the Highlands Family Success Center, Jennifer will ensure that programming will run smoothly and the community needs are being met.
